Does the Sunshower always have to be built in?
-
Will the Sunshower actually tan me?
No, you will receive a healthy tan though. Sunshower's low-dose UVB light causes the production of indirect pigment. The UVA light then transforms this pigment into a healthy tan. With regular use, you will be better protected against the sun, you will tan faster and you will retain your summer tan longer.
-
Is the Sunshower safe to use in the shower with the water and electricity?
Yes, the Sunshower is specially designed for use in the shower. The product has been tested and complies with the installation guidelines.
-
Is UV light harmful for my skin?
Sunshower emits a low dose of UV light and the maximum adjustable time is 10 minutes. This is similar to 10 minutes of summer sun in northwest Europe. UV light is harmful to the skin, even in a low dose. The skin recovers in 24 hours from this low dose. Medical research has shown that no additional skin damage occurs when using the Sunshower.

Do I need to wear glasses when using it?
Never look directly into the lamps without protection. We recommend that you wear the glasses when using the Sunshower.
-
How long do the lamps last?
The infrared lamps last 2000 hours. The UV lamps last 800 hours. After 600 hours, the UV output is reduced. We recommend changing the lamps at this point.
